On April 1, marks April Fool’s Day in European and American tradition. Literature is filled with funny books, but the curator of this website loves David Sedaris the most and Me Talk Pretty One Day is her favorite. The books is a series of humorous essays that take place mostly in France and is filled with great examples of what it means to hilariously suffer through learning French as an adult. In 2001, Sedaris won the Thurber Prize for American Humor for the book.
