On December 13, 1961, Grandma Moses, an American folk painter, passes away. She was born in 1860 as Anna Mary Robertson Moses. Professionally she went by her nickname, Grandma Moses. He work was frequently used on and in various products and projects. One such example is the use of her winter and Christmas scenes for a children’s book for “The Night before Christmas.”
