On November 15, 1959 the Clutter Family of Holcomb, Kansas is murdered. Their horrific deaths and the criminal investigations and trials after become the ingredients with which Truman Capote’s crafts his non-fiction book, In Cold Blood. Capote traveled to Kansas himself with his friend Harper Lee to research about the killings for himself.
